Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. filelighthouse.click uses very few of them. You can accept or reject optional cookies from the banner. Rejecting does not stop you reading pages, sending an enquiry, or opening PDFs.
This notice should be read with the privacy notice.
Types we use
Essential. The banner stores your choice so we do not ask on every page load. That storage uses localStorage under the key filelighthouse_cookie_consent, which is similar in purpose to a first-party preference cookie.
Analytics. If you accept, we may set a first-party analytics cookie to understand which public pages are read. If you reject, that cookie is not set. No advertising cookies are used.
Table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| filelighthouse_cookie_consent | Remembers Accept or Reject | Until you clear site data | File Lighthouse (first party) |
| fl_read_stats | Optional count of public page reads | 6 months | File Lighthouse (first party, only if you Accept) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use the banner on a first visit. Later, clear site data for filelighthouse.click in your browser settings, then reload; the banner will appear again. You can also use the browser’s block-cookies controls. Blocking all storage may hide the banner’s memory of a previous Reject, so it may appear again — the site still functions.
Third parties
We do not load advertising networks. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP address to Google. We do not control Google’s cookies. See their documentation if you wish to block that request.
Impact of disabling
Essential pages, the enquiry form, and legal texts remain available. Optional read counts stop. No measurement review is delivered through cookies; declining cannot cancel an engagement.
